Ember Hill left the dragon society Talon to join rebel dragon Cobalt and his crew of rogues. But Ember can’t forget the sacrifice made for her by Garret, the human soldier who saved her from an assassin and doomed himself.

Determined to save Garret from execution, Ember must convince Cobalt to help her break into the headquarters of mysterious dragonslayers the Order of St. George. With assissins after them and Ember’s own brother helping Talon with the hunt, a reckoning is brewing. The secrets hidden by both sides are shocking and deadly.

So after reading Talon I was very excited to start reading Rogue. Besides the story I love the covers of both the books, and I can’t wait to see what Soldier is gonna look like.

On to the story. Julie has suprised me in so many ways with this book. There were so many twists of faith that I couldn’t really guess what was happening next. It couldn’t put Rogue away and just wanted to keep reading, too bad I needed some sleep ever now and then.

I still don’t really like Riley, he is a bit too arrogant in my opinion. I love Garret though, I mean if I were Ember the choice between these two wouldn’t be very hard. So yes, I was very sad to see Garret leave.

I can’t wait what Soldier will bring Ember and what obstacles she has to overcome.

I’m sorry that this post isn’t that long, but I’m ill and could barely find the energy to actually write.

Have you read the Talon saga yet? Let me know what you thought about it in the comments!

Love,

Demi
